June 15

Hello,
Wow! We have had a busy 2 weeks!

On the 6th Pete had a birthday party. He had the Babiak boys, some of the Hartlaub boys and our neighbor Torren come. The theme was dinosaurs. They did an obstacle course, played game were they had to transfer water form one bucket to another, did origami,(they made mouths of animals) ate supper, and cake. The cake was made out of marble cake mix, frosted with green whip cream frosting. Then my mom put blue fruit roll ups on as a lake, plastic dinosaurs & trees, and she made a hill out of smaller cakes baked in a bowl. Samantha, Emily, and I went to the Babiaks and watched a movie. It was fun for us and then the boys didn't have us "invading" their party.

The next day, Saturday, my dad and Mr. Bob went to get grain. We also went to a fishing derby at Pell Lake. We caught a few good sized ones. They had free lunch and a few people won fishing polls. We had a lot of fun fishing and hanging out with the Babiaks.

Monday was piano. We also watched the neighbor kids, Torren and Xandria.

Tuesday we went to softball. We also went shopping at a few stores.

Wednesday and Thursday we watched Torran and Xandria again. Mommy and Daddy also went out to supper.

Friday we had a campfire with our new fire ring. The fire ring was one of Daddy's Father's day presents.

Yesterday we went the the CNH picnic. Every year my dad's work has a picnic at the Kenosha fair grounds. They have blow up games, fairish games, cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones, lunch, bingo, corn on the cob, a tractor display and free t-shirts.

Today we did church at home. We also had some special food, and gifts for Father's Day.

Lately it has been raining, storming, and flooding. There has been many tornado and hail warnings. We have not been affected by the weather very much.

That's all,
Paige

Us, "Little Bear" and the Babiaks

Hello,
We have been pretty busy and are just getting busier! Other than the usual stuff:
We finished school!!!!(mostly)
Went to 4-H,
And Daddy, Samantha, Emily, and I went to see the movie Prince Caspian. Samantha went once with our friends the Thelens and once with Daddy, Emily, and a few Babiaks. I went with Kaila and our friends the Kerns.

We also had Pete's to birthday. He got a variety of gifts, but his favorite was an authentic WWII helmet. The helmet has a inner "one" and an outer "one" each one is like a separate helmet made out of different material. He also has a authentic WWII canteen. He had mint chocolate chip ice cream cake with mini marshmallow decorations on it. He will be having a b-day party later this week.

This past weekend we went to CHEA (Christian Homeschool Education Association) of Wisconsin.(Homeschool conference for short) We went all day Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. One of the main speakers was Richard "Little Bear" Wheeler. He is a historian, evangelist, and pastor. He dresses up as different historic characters while speaking about them. At this conference he did Christopher Columbus, Sir William Wallace, Davey Crockett, and a few others. We enjoyed it very much... and the time spent with the Babiaks there.

Yesterday after church we stayed for a graduation. The person graduating had been homeschooled since 1st grade.

Today I have a piano lesson.

That wraps it all up,
Paige
