On Saturday we had Joy's party. She turned 5 in December, but rather than having her birthday then we had it by her half birthday. (For those of you who don't know Joy was born on Christmas eve. So we have a cake and a few presents on June 24, her half birthday) For games and crafts she painted, played toy food in her tee-pee, and had egg races. Mommy found a set of plastic eggs and spoons. Each egg had a bean bag yolk. Mommy also made each attendee a Indian dress. She added frilly stuff to the bottom of Joy's.

Hello,
Here is what we have done since the last time.

On Saturday Mommy went scrapbooking. Us three (older) girls went to the Christian Library.

On Sunday we had our friends, the Babiaks over for lunch. One of their African daughters braided Samantha's hair African style.

On Monday Samantha left for camp. She is going to be staying until the 7. She is working in the kitchen like she did last year.

We also went to the Babiak's house for a Young Peacemakers lesson. We have been going for about 3 weeks. We learn how to properly deal with conflict, where conflict starts and things like that. After the lesson the same daughter braided Laurel's hair African style.

Tuesday we went shopping.

Wednesday & Thursday we didn't do much.

Today we went to Wal-Mart before lunch to buy a few things for Joy's birthday party she is having tomorrow. We also bought some groceries.

Well I have to go now.

Since last time we haven't done that much. On Sunday we went fishing. Mommy caught a blue gill and a cat fish. I think that a few other people caught some also.

Hello,

Friday and Saturday we went to a homeschool conference held in Oconomowoc, WI. Two of the speakers were Ken Ham and Buddy Davis. Also a all homeschool orchestra played a few pieces. They played very well and had many, many instruments.

It has been very cool outside lately. Around 60 degrees.

Hello,
One thing I have failed to mention it that at the beginning of the month we started going to a park on Tuesday evenings so that my dad can play soft ball. It is a league that is of the area churches. He plays on our friends church's team. (our church doesn't have one) The rest of go to watch and talk to our friends.



Over this weekend we took down our tent that we parked our van in and set the roof part up for our trailer. Set up our screen tent on the back patio and set up a new tent for our van. We also went on a bike ride and celebrated Pete's 9th birthday.



Pete got a fishing poll, tackle box, Now & Latters, Nerds, baseball, baseball glove, soccer ball on a string that hooks to your ankle,a book were you cut out and assemble a western town, batteries & charger, camera bag, and a digital camera. He had ice cream cake made with vanilla wafer crust, strawberry ice cream and marshmallow fluff/coolwhip frosting. His decorations were in the shape of a colonial times American flag on our living room ceiling.

Hello,
Tonight our great-cousins came from Colorado. The last time they had seen my Dad was about 27 years ago. They hadn't ever met Mommy or any of us kids. Obviously we hadn't met them either. They came around 4:30, ate supper, talked, and they just left about 20 minutes ago.

Hello,

Since last time we have done a few things.

May 5, Mommy went scrapbooking at our friend's scrapbooking store.

May 9, Samantha had her 16th bithday. She got a book, earings, a gift card for Walgreens,(to print pictures) Skittles, and Now and Laters.

Levi also had his first hair cut on the 9th.

Friday we left for a camp workweekend. We spent the night and got home at about 9:30pm on Saturday.
