Hi everybody,
Wow! We have been quite busy!

In the rest of April (since the last post) went to shots, started softball practice (for my dad) and went to a wedding.

The wedding was on Sunday the 27. A girl we have know since we moved to WI was getting married. It was the same girl whose shower we went to in March. It was a nice wedding in an old, old church building. The reception was in a different building down the street. We also got to see some people my parents knew when they lived in VA. It was nice to see them since they live far away.

May 1 we took some May Day goodies to our friends house, went shopping, and us older girls got our hair cut. I got mine cut about to my shoulder. Samantha and Emily just got theirs layered and a small trim.

The 2nd Daddy, Mommy, Joy, & Laurel went to a book sale to sell books. School books, reading books, kid books, etc.

Tuesday the 6 we went to the first softball game of the year. We were glad to see some of our friends we didn't see much over the winter. We went shopping after the game.

We went to a piano recital on the 9th. I was in it and so was my friend. It was also Samantha's birthday.

Saturday Mommy went scrapbooking with her/our friend Miss Hannah.

Sunday we went to Church, then Pizza Hut for lunch, then shopping. When we got home Mommy opened her Mother's Day gift. It was a surveillance camera for the side yard. It is so that when the younger kids are out side by themselves she can still see them. Then we ate death by chocolate dessert. Then Samantha opened her birthday presents. She got a few fish tank bulbs(that grow into real, live plants) a mirror for our room(about 4 feet long) a giant tea cup flower pot, hair gel & cream, & picture frames.

Monday we had Samantha's birthday cake. She had mint chocolate chip ice cream cake with "fudgy" frosting. She made it herself.(she wanted to)

Yesterday we went to softball. We also went to Walmart, Aldis, and Petsmart.

Well that's it.

Saturday

April 12

Hello,
It has been a long time since I posted. We have been fairly busy, but I'll work on recapping.

March 28-30 we went to Above Rubies Family Camp.( www.aboverubies.org ) We really enjoyed it. On Saturday night there was a family concert type thing. Us kids did a thing on Ephesians 6:10-18, the passage about the armor of God. We made roman soldier costumes for the boys to wear.

Last Saturday we went to Bright Lights. We haven't been in a while so that was nice.

Sunday the 6th was Daddy's birthday. He had waffles for breakfast, brats, hot dogs, chips and other foods like that for lunch. For his cake he had a white cake with cool whip frosting and raspberry glaze. He also had raspberry sherbert.

This past week Daddy took off work to do some projects around the house. We have been working on the front room.(formerly the boys' room) It is painted a light blue. The front wall will be a darker shade of blue. They have also been doing the finishing touches to the dinning room.

Yesterday Mommy went scrapbooking after supper.

Well, that's all for now.

Overstuffed mouth.

Levi, mouth full and still putting more in.

"I found one Mom!!!!"

Hello,
Mostly we have been doing the normal, school, shots, milk, cleaning, etc. But we have done a few other things...

Wednesday the our friends came over for a few hours.

Sunday the 16 we went to church.

Tuesday we noticed that the female bird, Holly, had a hair wrapped around her foot. Samantha and Mommy tried to get it off but couldn't. We called the vet, made an appointment, and took her in. The doctor removed the hair(as much as he could; we hope it is all of it) put ointment on and a bright green bandage. The poor little bird looks silly with a huge(comparatively) bandage on her tiny foot.

Yesterday we went to shots, got milk, and after supper Mommy and us older girls went to Pet Smart to return my sick mollies. Then I got some more. We also went to Kohl's.

This morning Pete threw up. He seems ok now. Hopefully it wasn't much of a something and no one else gets it.

Today we had our Easter Egg Hunt. It is always fun to do! Levi would find an egg, open it, shove all the candy in his mouth, then repeat the process. He had sooooo much candy in his mouth. I think he ate at least half the candy he found.

Well that's all.

Have a blessed Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday!

Matthew 24:1-7(NKJV)
Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’”

Isaiah 53:5(NKJV)
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

Hello,

Wow! We have done a lot since last time I posted! I'll try to remember it all.

Wednesday February 19 Daddy & Mommy went out for supper. The rest of us just stayed home and ate spaghetti.

Saturday the 23 Daddy, Samantha, and I went to the last session of the IBLP Seminar at church.

Sunday we went to church, but had to leave right away, so that Daddy & Mommy could go to a Market America meeting.

Friday the 29 we went and got milk.

Saturday March 1 was Emily's 12 birthday. She got a fake bunny that hops and makes noises, some candy, and a jewelry box.(now that she has all those earrings she needs on) She had lemon pie for her "cake."(the picture is of her after she opened the rabbit)

Sunday the 2 we went to church, but had to leave right away so we could go to a wedding shower. The shower was for a girl our family has know since we moved to WI.(15 years ago)

Thursday we went to shots and got milk. That night Daniel got sick with the stomach flu.

Friday at lunch time Laurel also got sick, then Joy did at bedtime.

Saturday everyone was feeling much better.

Today we stayed home from church in case anyone else is sick. So far no one else is. He hope and pray that no one else gets sick.

That's it for now.

P.S. I changed the poll. I would love it if you wanted to participate.

Wednesday

February 20

Hey everybody,
I just put a poll on the right hand side. I would greatly appreciate it if you all would participate!!!

Belowe is a thing I wrote for school last year. I thought I would post it on my blog for you to read.
The Importance of Reading and Memorizing God's Word

The Bible tells us many times why we should read and memorize it. Psalms says this an extra lot of times.

Psalm 17:4
Concerning the works of men, By the word of Your lips, I have kept away from the paths of the destroyer.
In this verse it is saying that by the Bible we can keep away from Satan's ways.

Psalm 119:9
How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.
This verse tells us how we can make our life good, by listening to the Bible.

Psalm 119:11
Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.
Here it tells us to memorize the Bible, so we don't sin.

Psalm 119:16
I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.
I think this verse is telling us to delight in God's statues and not to forget the Bible.

Psalm 119:42
So shall I have an answer for him who reproaches me, For I trust in Your word.
Here it is saying if you trust in the Bible, read it, and memorize it you will be able to answer to anyone who would reproach you.

Psalm 119:162I rejoice at Your word As one who finds great treasure.
We should act like the Bible is a treasure, because it is.

John 17:17
Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
Here it says that the Bible is true.

Ephesians 6:10-17
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole
armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil...... Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day......shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace...... and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
It is telling us here that we need to be strong in the Lord and His might, to wear His armor, so that we can stand-up against Satan. To wear the gospel of peace and the sword of the Spirit, the Bible.

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
I think it is saying here that the Bible is a good weapon.
I think that these verses were put in the Bible to tells us that God wants us to read and memorize his word, so that we can be lights, stand against Satan, and do what he want us to do.

This is a fish Mommy painted when she was about 12. She used monochromatic colors. Daddy had it framed for her birthday.

Here is pic of one of the clusters of flowers on the hoya Daddy bought her for her birthday.

Another picture of the flowers, these aren't opened yet.

This is a picture of a very large racoon on top of the cat house, which has a cardboard box covered with a black bag on it. Levi calls it a 'moon'. There are two that keep coming out to eat our cat food. Usually racoons hibernte in the winter, but these two must not feel like it.

Hello,
Thursday the 14 we didn't have to go to shots because Samantha can now go every other week!!! We are excited about that!

Friday we went to get milk and we also went to the scrapbook store that Mommy scrapbooks at to buy some paper. We used the paper to make cards and card holders to give out as party favors at our tea party.

Saturday us girls(Samantha, Paige, & Emily) had a tea party. We had about 10 friends come over. We read a few of our devotionals we had done for school, sang a few hymns, played a word game, and ate. Some of the food that we made included sanwhiches, nut log, mini-cheesecakes, fruitcabobs(on fancy tooth picks), scones and a few more thing. While we had our tea party the rest of them went out for lunch.

Three of the girls(sisters) stay after it was done. The rest of their family came and had supper with us.

Sunday we went to church. We were glad that the weather wasn't as bad as they thought it would be.

Monday night we went to 4-H. Daddy was a "special guest" did a talk on computers. He brought a lot of old pieces to let people look at and did a demonstation on what servers do.(They support a few web sites and/or store information for a company. They are remotely controlled by the employies of the company that owns it.)

Yesterday Mommy went out in the afternoon to vote in the primaries. Daddy voted on his way home from work.

The righteous run to it and are safe.
