Hello,

Today we went to the Zoo for Joy's heart picnic.


Thursday night we got home from KY. I think that I will give you a summery of my trip to VA & KY starting from the last time I left home.


Tuesday the 31st, I left with Grandma by airplane to go to VA.


Wednesday we went to Grandma's work to do the end of the month report. She is the only one who can do it and it had to be done then. We also went to the mall and to an Ikea.


Thursday Aunt Janet,(Grandma's sister) Shelby, Dalton,(Aunt Janet is their Grandma) Aunt Diana,(Willie & Wade's mom) Willie, & Wade came for lunch. We also took a walk down to the Potomac River. My Grandma's neighborhood is right on it. Uncle Travis, Aunt Diana, Willie, & Wade come over for supper.

Friday we went to work again so Grandma could do time and attendance for the custodians. If she didn't do it then they wouldn't get paid.

Saturday we went to the Farmer's Market in Alexandria. We went swimming with Willie & Wade in their pool.

Sunday we went to church, then to Grandma Sandra's. We stayed there for a few hours. We also saw Auntie Robin, Willie,(Auntie Robin's husband) and their dog, C.J.

Monday we left for KY at 5 am. We drove until about 7 pm, then we got to the hotel. After the rest of my family got back from supper we talked for a while then started to get ready for bed. We had two rooms, one for Daddy, Mommy, Joy, Laurel, and Levi. The other one was for Grandma and the rest of the us kids. After a few minutes my mom asked Grandma to go out to the hall. Where they whispered about something for a few minutes. Then they told us what they were whispering about. My Mom had found a bedbug on the little girls bed!!!!!! They moved to a different room, then we changed all the bedding in both rooms looked at the the mattresses and vacuumed both rooms ourselves. They gave us the night free. And a gift certificate for a night or two.

Tuesday we went to the Creation Museum. It was really cool!! The first thing we did was go into the Planetarium. It was amazing how many stars there is and how far they are away. Then we also went though about half the Museum. We went swimming in the afternoon. All went well except that sometime around bedtime the people above my parents room must have used too much water or something, because the fan above the jacuzzi was dripping with water.(The reason that they had a jacuzzi in their room was because it was the only room with enough room for them.) They called the front desk who then told the people to stop using the water.

Wednesday we went to the Creation Museum again. We went to thought the rest of the museum and watch a movie called "The Men in White." It sprayed you with water and the chairs shook. When we were getting ready for bed that night the fire alarms went off!! We grabbed our shoes and walked quickly to the stairs. By this time the fire alarms had stopped. My parents room was right by the stairs so we went down with them. All this time we saw no one. We went down to the front desk where the man was calmly talking on the phone. It turned out that someone in a smoking room was smoking a few too many cigarettes. What an exciting stay at our motel!!!

Thursday Grandma & Emily left for VA at 9 am. We finished packing up our stuff and drove to Cincinnati where we went to a Underground Railroad Museum. It was very neat. We drove home after we where done there. We got home about 11 pm.

That is about it. I will post some pictures soon. The displays were very real looking.
