A lot has happened since last time I posted on my blog.
Saturday Dec. 22, Daddy and us kids went shopping for Mommy. While we were gone she wrapped all of our presents. When we go home we wrapped her gifts and us kids also wrapped Daddy's gifts, our gifts to each other, and gifts for our friends.
Sunday we went to the Babiak's house for lunch and to exchange gifts. We enjoyed that a lot!
Christmas Eve morning we celebrated Joy's 6th birthday. For breakfast she ate chocolate chip pancakes. She got a baby doll stroller, a robe, a toy crate of wooden eggs, a book, a chef's hat, apron, and hot pads, medal toy pots and pans and kitchen utensils, and a toy digital camera that is real. The camera takes real pictures, displays them on a screen, but it is plastic and made for little kids. She had a heart shaped confetti cake. For supper she ate meatloaf and mashed potatoes.
After supper we each opened one Christmas present.(our tradition)
Christmas we opened the rest of our present, ate our ham dinner, and played with our new things.
Thursday we all went shopping and returned a few things. In the evening Daddy, Mommy, Joy, and Levi went to the laundry mat to get some clothes dried.
Friday Daddy, Mommy, and Levi went shopping to return some things and just to go shopping. The rest of us kids and Grandma had a tea party, went for a walk and played some games, watched a few movies(seeing as it was Friday anyway) and just did what-ever. In the evening we watched our neighbors grandchildren Torren and Xandria. While they were shopping the washer started to smell, then started working fine again. Daddy decided that the motor was probably going bad, but would still work for a while.
Saturday Dec. 29, Daddy, Mommy, and Levi went to Home Depot to look at new washers and dryers. They brought home the floor model of a dryer and bought a washer.
Sunday we went to Church and stopped on the way home for a few groceries.
Monday Mommy went shopping in the afternoon to get some ingredients for the food we ate that night. We played games and ate appetizers and other food we usually don't eat for New Years Eve.
Tuesday morning we gave the washer to the neighbor(they already had a dryer) Later Mommy and some of us went to the laundry mat to wash our clothes, because the new washer wasn't going to be delivered until Friday.
Wednesday Daddy took Grandma to the airport early then went to work.
Thursday Samantha started school. Because we tape our school the rest of us didn't have to start until Monday. We also went to shots and got milk.
Friday the new washer came!!
Saturday we didn't do much out of the ordinary.
Sunday we went to Church.
Monday we started school. In the afternoon a tornado went through a town about ten minutes east of us. Nothing in our neighborhood got damaged. That night we went shopping.
Yesterday we went to a viewing of our friend's friend.
Today we just stayed home and did school.
