Hello,
We are busy, busy, busy!
The 20-21 Mommy went scrapbooking while the rest of us went van shopping. Daddy's car decided now was the time to start overheating. :( Since it would be a few thousand to fix the problem(only the overheating one; not all the rest) they decided to buy a replacement vehicle. The best type is a mini-van, so we looked for one the worked well and was a reasonable price. Daddy found on online located a half hour away. Saturday night all us kids and Daddy drove to look at it and buy it. Sunday Daddy, Mommy, and some of the kids went to get it. In the afternoon on Sunday Daddy and Daniel went to the Chicago Train Museum. Everybody else went to a graduation for our friend in Janesville.
This past week we:
1. Went to piano
2. Went to softball
3. Went to shots
4. Went clothes shopping
And #5...
We "went" camping with the Babiaks in our yard! They came Friday afternoon and stayed the night then left Saturday afternoon. We played red rover, Simon says, red light green light, tag, and many other games. We went swimming in our pools. Had a campfire, smores, and thousands of mosquitoes attack!(they were only bad Friday night after dark) We had tons of fun and made lots and lots of memories with our friends!
Sunday we went to church. Then Daddy, Pete, and Daniel took Samantha to camp. She will come home the 12. It seems strange when one of our siblings is gone. It is almost as if something (or in this case someone) missing. Oh well, guess you have to get used to it sometime, seeing as we won't always be together.
Yesterday we went to Aldis, K-Mart, the doctors, and Sentry. Then Mommy took me to piano, went to exercise, got milk, and went to Pick 'N Save. After piano Daddy and the kids picked me up then we went to Office Max (or Office Depot, I'm never sure which is in what town)
Today we didn't do any thing, except Emily and I went on a bike ride. This summer we have been given a "challenge" by Daddy and Mommy. It is this; bike 10 1/2 hours and do other exercise 5 1/2 hours and they will give us a DVD of our choice. This challenge only applies to Samantha, Emily, and I. We are allowed to combine our hours to get a DVD sooner. Amongst the three of us we have enough for a movie now. We chose the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe for our first movie. We aren't exactly sure what the other two will be.(we are only allowed to get 1 per person, even if we do more than the required hours)
That sums up or past two weeks.
As Independence Day approaches I will leave you with this thought:
The only way to have true freedom is to realize that Jesus' sacrifice and punishment, His stripes brought us the only way. And to keep all freedom we must always depend on Him alone.

WOW!!! You have been BUSY! But it sounds like you had lots of fun with the Babiaks. I miss them. :-(
It was fun to see you at the graduation party! I was kind of wondering where your dad and Daniel were. Miss ya!

Hi Paige! I haven't been on your blog in a long time! I was visiting Kaila's blog and decided to give your's a check! You guys ARE having a busy summer! Yes, I know exactly what you mean about having a sibling gone. I am experiencing this more and more as Marc is getting older. He will be 19 soon, so he is getting more on his own and will be gone up to 8 hours at a time. It's hard, but yes, I do have to get used to it, even though I DON'T wanna! To bad we won't always be together. Well, looks like y'all are having a great summer!? Say hi to everyone!!!
Love Vanessa
