Me and Corrie the craft lady at camp

Me and Lauren at Ignite Chicago.

Wow! Our summer is almost over! What a fun and busy summer it has been. :) Last week I was at camp again! It was a good week-not to hot or humid and lots of kids. On Saturday Samantha and I drove home. On the way we picked up Lauren. It was good to come home again! Then Sunday morning Samantha, Lauren, Emily and I went to Shaumberg, IL. for Ignite Chicago. It is a gianormous concert with about 10 or so artists! We were especially excited to see Tobymac and Stellar Kart. That was a loooong and fun day! It started at 11:30am and ended at 10:30pm. We kinda sorta took a few wrong turns on the way down there, but made it ok. Then on the way home we took a bad wrong turn and really went the wrong direction! It ended up taking us at least a hour and half longer to get home! But oh well! We made it safe and sound! Monday morning Samantha headed back to camp bright and early. Monday the rest of us went out shopping for a while. Tuesday night I went to piano and Daddy worked on my teacher's computer. Wednesday the boys and Daddy went to Alert Cadets. Thursday evening Emily, Pete, Daniel, and I went horseback riding! That was fun!!! But now my back is quite sore! I guess I don't use those muscles very often. :/ Today we aren't doing much of anything. I'm getting all my stuff together to head back to camp! Tomorrow morning I'll be leaving again for a week! Then Samantha and I will be back for the everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. (well not forever, but for a while!)

Hmmm, as I think about what they did while I was gone last week.......ummm, oh. Saturday (the 17th) was the CNH Picnic. Each year my dad's company has a picnic with food, snow cones, cotton candy, blow-up jumpy things, carnival games, tractors, and bingo. So they all went to that. Oh, and we all get a free t-shirt! I'm not sure what else they did.....I know everybody's been working on fair projects a lot. A good few have been finished and a lot more have been started!

Well, I'm quite excited to be going back to camp for a week! But I'm also looking forward to the fair and being home. It's a complicated feeling, that's for sure!
