The picture is of Levi at the Discovery Center.
He was having a lot of fun playing in the imitation
kitchen.

Hello,
We haven't been doing much lately. But we have had a ton of snow. We got at least 12 inches last week. Tonight we are expected to get 1-3 inches.

We also have been sick. It was the coughs that was the worst. We are slowly getting better now.

Hello,
Yesterday we went down to Rochester for a book-sale and then we went to the Discovery Center. We also went shopping. We were looking for a coat Levi. He has a snowsuit, but when it gets a little warmer he will be to hot for it. Friday we went bowling with our church. We had a lot of fun.

This picture is of Levi with his walker he got for Christmas. If something is in his way, he lifts up on the handle and slams it into what ever it is that is in his way.

Hi there,
It has been really cold here lately. It is now in the teens during the day.

Right now most of us have colds, I had one last week so I am trying really hard not to get sick again.

Tomorrow and Saturday mommy is going to a 2-day crop. She also went scrapbooking last Monday.(the 29)

Here are some pictures of Daniel's 7th birthday

This one is when he opened his two light-up swords. He really liked them.
One of the present he opened was a battery and charger. It took him a few seconds to realize what it was for, but when he did he asked if it was a 'remote control car, perhaps?' That is of what the picture is of.
He also got a windup airplane that drives then flips over.

This present is a watch that his friend has. He really liked it. It has a digital clock, a regular clock, a compass, alarm, timer, and a few other things too.

I have to go now.

P.S. Sorry I haven't posted in such a long time.

Hello,
We have all been well except Emily and I both came down with the chicken pox. We are almost better now. But we anticipate Pete, Daniel, Joy, & Laurel getting them also. Levi shouldn't get them becouse he is so young. Samantha had them before the rest of us were born.

Here is the devotional I wrote for school.

What Proverbs 10 has to say about wisdom.

Proverbs 10 tells us who is wise. It starts out by saying this: “A wise son brings joy to his to father, but a foolish son grief to his mother.” I can easily see where this verse would fit into most situations. It goes on to say that “The wise in heart accept commands, but the chattering fool comes to ruin.” If you stop and listen to others, you often can save yourself, and those around you, from trouble. Proverbs 10 also tells us that when you hate it stirs up anger, but love forgives.

Next, it tells us that “Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning.” I think that means if you seek counsel from someone who has experienced many things in their life, then you will find wise counsel.

In my opinion, verses 14 and 19 go along with each other when say “Wise men store up knowledge.” and, “He who holds his tongue is wise.” Because you can’t store up knowledge very well when you are always talking.

Another thing Proverbs 10 teaches is that wise people know when and what to say. Verses 30 & 32 show us that when they say: “The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom.” and, “The lips of the righteous know what is fitting. One more thing Proverbs 10 has to say is that, “The righteous stand firm forever.” I think that verse 27, “The fear of the Lord adds length to life.” and verse 30 “The righteous will never be uprooted.” go along with that verse well.

After studying Proverbs 10 I think very few people are truly wise.

I hope this encorages someone as they read it.

October 1

Hi everyone,
We have been pretty busy this summer.

We've had a few litters of baby bunnies this summer. Our one bunny has nine babies each time. Since she can only take care of eight at a time, we took her ninth in the house and fed it kitten formula. It lived a few days, but then got sick and died. The second time she had babies, we put the ninth in with another mom bunny. But it soon died also. We also had two other moms have babies. We had a total of 21 living babies this summer.(I think)

Our outside cat is also expecting a litter of kittens. We think they will be born the middle of October. She had a litter this summer,(the end of June) but they died.

We are all doing well. Levi is getting very grown up. He talks to himself and can prop-sit for a few seconds.

The beginning of September, we went to a Christian Youth & Family camp for their Fall Work weekend. It is to help shut things down for the winter. It's about three hours north of us. We brought home some pine trees to plant in our yard. So far, they are all doing well.

I will try to post a devotional I wrote for school in the next few days.
